Summer Learn to Swim Program
All Sessions are Full
All City of Buffalo Summer Learn to Swim Sessions are currently full. If you are interested in joining our waiting list, please register your child below in your preferred time slot. We will reach out if a spot becomes available or to inform you of other swimming opportunities.
Thank you for the interest in the City of Buffalo Summer Learn to Swim Program in partnership with the City Swim Project and supported by funding secured by New York State Assemblymember Jon D. Rivera.
A few important points:
- Prior to attending your first lesson, you must register your child with the City of Buffalo Parks and Recreation Department for their Membership ID, which is required to access City of Buffalo pools. You can find the link here.
- Children ages 17 and under CANNOT independently register for the City of Buffalo Membership ID, as they cannot provide a release of liability.
- Parents must stay during the swimming lessons but are encouraged to observe from outside the fenceline.
- On the first day of lessons, your child will receive some program swag and be evaluated for placement in the appropriate level of the program.
- When attending your child’s free lessons, please arrive at least 5 minutes before the designated lesson time and arrive on time to pick up your child at the conclusion of the lesson.
- Be sure to have your child check in with the program supervisor prior to going to their instructor.
- Swim Lessons are subject to cancellation based on the City of Buffalo Inclement Weather Policy or unforeseen circumstances.
